For some, it’s hard to beat the feeling of reading a physical book, but there are times when you’ll be thankful to have Libby on your device! Libby lets you take your reading anywhere - listen on the bus, enjoy a short chapter with your morning cuppa or while you’re cooking or working out.

You can also be more adventurous with your reading choices - if the book or magazine isn’t your cup of tea, return it and choose another, free of charge.

And why stop at one book? Once you get started, you can check out up to 35 items at a time, as many times as you like!

Libby is easy to use

All you need is your library card, a device with access to the internet, and the Libby app!

Download the Libby, by OverDrive app from the App Store or Google Play to your smartphone or tablet.

Visit our website for step-by-step guidance on downloading the app or accessing OverDrive on your computer or eReader.

The next step is to log in using your library card. Libby has a friendly chatbot to help you during the setup process if you have any trouble.

Once you’re logged in, you can browse through our huge range of titles. When you find a title that interests you, click ‘borrow’. The rest is up to you!
