This week Karen talks with author, Des O’Leary, about Slice of heaven - the novel he wrote for his South Auckland students who said they liked ‘stories about people like us’. He must have gotten it right, as the book’s popularity earned it a spot on the 2018 Auckland Libraries Top 10 for teens.
