Online services outage

Due to maintenance, our online library services will be unavailable on: 6.05am to 6.30am, Thursday 13 February. The outages will include searching for library items in the library catalogue, logging in and managing your account, paying online and joining the library.   The outages will also affect our eCollections platforms, the Auckland Libraries app and our eLearning resources. It’s official – Aucklanders are enthusiasts of books written by fellow New Zealanders! Discover the most-borrowed books that made their way from Auckland Council Libraries into the homes and hearts of Aucklanders in 2024. The year saw a rise in the popularity of Kiwi authors, with half of the 10 most borrowed books written by New Zealanders. Leading the charge and taking the top spot for 2024 was Olivia Spooner’s popular war-time love story, The Girl from London . Three memoirs by New Zealanders also made the top ten list, thanks to the success of 2024 We Read Auckland / Ka Pānui Tātou Tāmaki Makaurau. The festival featured 16 must-read local stories in the highly revered Bestie collection, showcasing some of the most in-demand books in Tāmaki Makaurau.
