Support for BookLink at Auckland Libraries
We're providing support for The Blind Foundation's BookLink service at libraries across Tāmaki Makaurau.
BookLink offers independent access to The Blind Foundation's digital collections for people who are blind, have low vision or who have a print disability.
Using the app or website, audiobooks can be downloaded directly to an Apple or Android mobile device and once downloaded, can be read without requiring an internet connection.
The audiobook collection covers a wide range of subjects, fiction and non-fiction books, and a selection of New Zealand titles that have been narrated in collaboration with the Blind Foundation.
The BookLink app also allows for simultaneous multi-user access, meaning there is no need to wait for your favourites!
To access BookLink, you must be registered with the Blind Foundation as a member or associate member. You can do this by contacting the Blind Foundation on 0800 24 33 33 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Librarians at selected libraries around Tāmaki Makaurau are able to help you learn more about the Blind Foundation's services including BookLink.
